Its the Most wonderful time of the year
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE to make Christmas cards. In fact in years past I made them all year round! Then I had a stash ready at Christmas. this year I was sooo busy I could not squeeze it in so I'm having sooo much fun making cards now! each one I make will be sent out in a few weeks. Im making a bunch this holiday weekend! Ohhh just wait till you see my holiday card with the family picture! LOVE IT!

What's in the Slider box???-Last day of the Blog Tour!
Have you enjoyed the blog tour so far? Can you guess what is in this little slider box?
A group of 9 little 3x3 gift cards- all using the ornament punch a Delightful Decorations set. Don't miss this fun stamp set & punch- once the mini is over it wont be available!
Here is a shot of the box empty. I lined the box base with matching dsp.
And here is a shot of the 9 cards. the very vanilla base is embossed with the petals-a-plenty embossing folder (also in the mini for a limited time)
BOX SPECS: Base: 5-1/4 x 8-1/2, score at 1" and a 4-1/4 turn and score at 1" and 7-1/2. snip small score lines to form box.
box wrap: 6-1/2 x 10, score at 3/38, 4-1/2, 7-7/8 and 9" fold around box base and secure with adhesive.

Whats in this cute box? blog tour day 3
Stinkin Cute-- this little box!!
its a small glass ornament from the craft store. I put 20 drops of re-inker in the ornament and carefully swirled it around until I got full coverage. then I added a spoonful of fine galaxy red glitter and shook it up! Voila! On the outside are some rub ons. these are retired but you can get the icicle ones in the mini!

TO MAKE THE BOX: Base is 6.25 x 6.25: score at 2" on all sides. snip score lines to form box.
LID: 6-3/8 x 6-3/8 score at 2" on all sides. snip score lines to form top/lid.

Welcome Back to the Remarkable Blog tour! Here is a little project you can make in just minutes with the Matchbox die and your big shot.
Cut 3 match boxes in card stock that matches your designer paper of choice. attach the match boxes to each other and then wrap the stack with holiday designer paper.
I tucked 3 flavors of Ghiradelli chocolates in each drawer ( 2 in each drawer)

Patterned Pines
Did you have this set? I was not sure about it a t 1st but this card makes me LOVE IT! You only have a few more weeks to host a party and get it- its exclusive to the Holiday mini.
I hand colored the tree trunks with a chocolate chip marker. trees are hand cut and popped up with a dimensional.

A Sparkly New Card & a New Class by Mail
I needed a break of all the Christmas cards I have been making. This is soooo sparkly in real life. I have really been into adding glitter to my cards these past few days. Its true....everything really does look better with glitter!
all the raised, embossed areas have glitter. the flower centers were just dabbed with a crushed curry marker. So cool in real life.

Robot Wrap Up!
I needed a fast gift wrap for a 4th grader's Birthday party this afternoon.....here's what I came up with with the help of son!
a simple 3x3 card/tag with the Lots of Bots stamp set. tied to the top with cord.
So.....I'm surprised that I'm not "twitching" from the amount of wide double-stitched bashful blue ribbon I used. (could this be an excuse to purchase another roll?) No hoarding ladies-- USE IT! oh amd my son LOVED this! he's says that the robots are cool. Wanna know what inside the box----> Bakugan. 4th grade boys can't get enough of them!

Ornament Stencils
Yes- this card looks just as striking in person as it does on screen! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Its a little bit of work, but what hand stamped card isn't right? The stencils are layered and there is a mask. You need to be careful not to move them too much. I used sponges and classic ink, but daubers will work too! and the glitter is much better in person. this card gets a 2nd look from across the room. SO cool!

Its even colder today!
Polar bear COLD!
Its really Hard to get a good shot of an acetate card! I stamped snowflakes (Christmas Punch) in white stazon on the acetate. then added the cute coca-cola style polar bear. He's embossed with versamark and white embossing powder! It makes him REALLY white! I used a black sharpie marker for his nose.

Ornament Punch Folded tags
I have had a bunch of Emails on how to make the folded Ornament tags. I learned how to do this a few years back when Stampin' Up! came out the the Small and large tag punches.

I used the ornament Stencils and Stampin Up! craft ink in Whisper white, Old olive, Chocolate chip and real red.

On the Twelfth Day of Christmas...
I'm giving a holiday stationary box!
This box is not my original creation. It was shared by a team mate Trena. I did however change the specs slightly! She's so great!
Here is the box closed- with an acetate window
and this is the inside:
4 cards, 6 3x3 gift notes and 9 tags- 3 of each color. I also assed holiday post-it notes from last year and some red and green mini gels pens I picked up at Staples some where along the way.
very simple cards!!!! ETA: I hand drew the Lines on these card with a ruler and a chocolate chip marker.
Wooohoooo! Iv'e got 12 gifts checked off my list!
Here's the "how to" for the box:
Base 12 x 12 card stock, scored at 1" and 2" on all 4 sides. cut away some of the cross over scored edges and fold over the sides to the make the box.
Lid: 10-1/16" x 10-1/16" square. Score at 1" on all 4 sides. snip short score lines and fold into form lid. Cut your acetate window first.
dividers: I used scrap pieces. here is an example of how to customize your dividers. the long divider piece between the tags is 8" x 3. make 3 score lines each 3/4" apart, fold with middle section up. side pieces as flaps and insert into your box. I lined my box with matching paper to hide any seams.

On the Nineth Day of Christmas...
I'm giving a custom gift box filled with Holiday tags.
this is perfect for the Hostess of the many holiday parties we attend!
and when you open it:
Here's a shot of some of the Tags. You can easily fit an assortment of 20 tags from the Two Tags Die for the Bigshot.
TO MAKE THE BOX:
Disclaimer- this is not my template. It's cased from a template on line that I found out about at my RemARKable stamping retreat in September. I will link back to the original as soon as I can!
Box Base/Wrap: 12 x 12 piece of card stock- cut to 8.5 x 10.5. ( yes you can used 8.5 x 11, but I used the scraps to decorate the box) Score long side 3.5, 5 and 5-1/8 (down the middle). the extra 1/8 helps the box lid open and close properly.
Now scallop your edges with your scallop edge punch.
FOR THE COMPARTMENTS:
Small sections 6x6 piece of card stock scored at 1.5 on all sides. (make 3 if you want a box with 3 sections)
Long section 6x9 piece of card stock scored at 1.5 on all sides.
snip short score lines to form boxes. adhere the 2 boxes to each other first, then attach them to the box wrap.
Decorate and Embellish!
All supplies are stampin up! Tags are made with the Two Tags Die from Stampin Up! and I just embellished them with scraps!
