Ornament Stencils

Yes- this card looks just as striking in person as it does on screen! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Its a little bit of work, but what hand stamped card isn't right? The stencils are layered and there is a mask. You need to be careful not to move them too much. I used sponges and classic ink, but daubers will work too! and the glitter is much better in person. this card gets a 2nd look from across the room. SO cool!

Polar bear COLD!

Its really Hard to get a good shot of an acetate card! I stamped snowflakes (Christmas Punch) in white stazon on the acetate. then added the cute coca-cola style polar bear. He's embossed with versamark and white embossing powder! It makes him REALLY white! I used a black sharpie marker for his nose.

So fun- I have been playing with this set quite a bit (be prepared to be enabled). Cute, fun and just perfect for the cold January and February months here in PA! All supplies are Stampin' Up!

Ornament Punch Folded tags

I have had a bunch of Emails on how to make the folded Ornament tags. I learned how to do this a few years back when Stampin' Up! came out the the Small and large tag punches.

I made this bag today with my stamping BFF Lanie! LOVE IT! Cased from the Definitely Decorative Decor elements brochure.

I used the ornament Stencils and Stampin Up! craft ink in Whisper white, Old olive, Chocolate chip and real red.

On the Twelfth Day of Christmas...

I'm giving a holiday stationary box!

This box is not my original creation. It was shared by a team mate Trena. I did however change the specs slightly! She's so great!

Here is the box closed- with an acetate window

and this is the inside:

4 cards, 6 3x3 gift notes and 9 tags- 3 of each color. I also assed holiday post-it notes from last year and some red and green mini gels pens I picked up at Staples some where along the way.

very simple cards!!!! ETA: I hand drew the Lines on these card with a ruler and a chocolate chip marker.

Wooohoooo! Iv'e got 12 gifts checked off my list!

Here's the "how to" for the box:

Base 12 x 12 card stock, scored at 1" and 2" on all 4 sides. cut away some of the cross over scored edges and fold over the sides to the make the box.

Lid: 10-1/16" x 10-1/16" square. Score at 1" on all 4 sides. snip short score lines and fold into form lid. Cut your acetate window first.

dividers: I used scrap pieces. here is an example of how to customize your dividers. the long divider piece between the tags is 8" x 3. make 3 score lines each 3/4" apart, fold with middle section up. side pieces as flaps and insert into your box. I lined my box with matching paper to hide any seams.

I'm giving a "welcome" picture Frame. How cute is this on the end table?

this is My recipe box class made with the Christmas cocoa designer paper and matching card stock. I converted the theme into a Holiday sweets recipe box.

On the Nineth Day of Christmas...

I'm giving a custom gift box filled with Holiday tags.

this is perfect for the Hostess of the many holiday parties we attend!

and when you open it:

Here's a shot of some of the Tags. You can easily fit an assortment of 20 tags from the Two Tags Die for the Bigshot.

TO MAKE THE BOX:

Disclaimer- this is not my template. It's cased from a template on line that I found out about at my RemARKable stamping retreat in September. I will link back to the original as soon as I can!

Box Base/Wrap: 12 x 12 piece of card stock- cut to 8.5 x 10.5. ( yes you can used 8.5 x 11, but I used the scraps to decorate the box) Score long side 3.5, 5 and 5-1/8 (down the middle). the extra 1/8 helps the box lid open and close properly.

Now scallop your edges with your scallop edge punch.

FOR THE COMPARTMENTS:

Small sections 6x6 piece of card stock scored at 1.5 on all sides. (make 3 if you want a box with 3 sections)

Long section 6x9 piece of card stock scored at 1.5 on all sides.

snip short score lines to form boxes. adhere the 2 boxes to each other first, then attach them to the box wrap.

Decorate and Embellish!

All supplies are stampin up! Tags are made with the Two Tags Die from Stampin Up! and I just embellished them with scraps!

I used my digital studio for the 2 small bits of what would be stamping. I did not have these stamps ( Favorite Things)

Have Fun!- Don't have a punch box?? what about Altering a plain white Lunch box or a printed one form the craft store! I have a few of those too! LOL

On the Sixth Day of Christmas...

I'm giving Cottage Wall personalized note cards and a tote to match!

12 Cards and envelopes fit Nicely into the tote.

TOTE SPECS: 12 x12 piece of card stock. Score at 3 and 9. Turn and score at 4.5 and 7.5 snip short score lines and fold up sides and adhere to make the tote. My handles are from the Oval scallop frame die for the Big shot. Embellish and decorate your tote!

For the cards: My goal for these was fast and simple so I focused on the designer paper. Each dsp piece is 3x4 and layered 2 times. the "Lovely letters" are punched and layered with more punches. I added a small rhinestone brad to the letter for some accent. light green and light purple.

Don't forget to stamp your envelopes!

I highly Doubt I'll gift this item- I already have a spot in my stamp room for this!

On the Fourth Day of Christmas...

I'm giving some really cool Medallion Coasters!

I can not tell you haw FABULOUS these are in person! They are the marble unfinished tumble tiles from Lowes or Home Depot. they come in a box of 12 for about $5 (I think)

I stamped each tile with the Medallion stamp in Chocolate Chip craft ink. My pad was VERY juicy so these were fabulous since the image came out so dark & rich! re-ink your pad if its slightly dry! Bake for 10 minutes at 350.

Since these tiles are so dusty I spray mine (front & back) with a matte sealer from the craft store. A very light mist to control the dust. and don't forget the felt pads for the back!

Since these are so heavy I decided to put them in this cute bucket ( from the $1 spot at Target a few months back) I added felt feet to the bucket as well since its great storage/display for the coasters in someones home! the panel on the front of the bucket is a Monogram label- I think it needed to be a little personalized!

I'm giving a Birthday Rolodex and 8 coordinating cards

In Melon Mambo and Black!

This rolodex can be found at Walmart. I just added designer paper and some die cuts and punched pieces. Stampin' Up! does sell a Rolodex die for the Bigshot-but that's not in my collection of dies.

I needed a cute case for the 8 cards- I went back to my Sincere Salutations with flair class and used that box in new colors!

On the Second Day of Christmas...

My good friend gave to me- Something for my Best Furry Friend

In this gift set:

a Dog bone picture frame

Jar full of dog biscuits (homemade ones would be a good choice, but I used Milkbones)

For the Frame: (from the $1 store) I Covered a black dog bone Frame with the Night and Day paper. I used a Glue Stick and then lightly sanded the edges. I don't have the Stampin up dog stamp sets so I used My Digital Studio for this and printed it on whisper white.

For the Jar: (from Target) I used Thoroughly modern DSP and made a belly bad. The paper did not reach all the way around the jar so I made the front panel. The dog bone is made with 2 heart punches from the trio heart punch taped on scrap and then I hand cut the bone. the hearts are still on the back.

Biscotti Box

Gift bag for 1/2 pound of coffee

I used Tea party designer paper and matching card stock. I chose this becuase it had hints of black in the dsp to match the mug.

Here are the Details:

Tumbler: remove the template, trace, cut out and insert dsp into tumbler.

Biscotti box: 6x12 black card stock. score at 8.5 and 9.5. turn and score on the long edge 1" in on each side. Snip short score lines to form box.

DSP front: 3-7/8 x 2-3/8

Belly band: 3 x 11, punch with scallop edge punch. folded and adhered in the back

Hot chocolate holder: 8.75 x 8.5 black card stock. with the 8.5 side at the top of your score tool, score at 4.25 and 4.5 ( down the middle), turn and score 2.75 and 3 to make the pockets. cut out small scored section between pockets. decorate

Tall bag for 1/2 pound of coffee: this is part of my Holiday boxes bags and tags class in November!

Stamps: Pun Fun

Paper: Tea Party DSP, Pretty in Pink, Celery, so saffron, black and whisper white card stock. Ink: Black

Accessories: Black ribbon, markers for coloring!

Sticky pages punch Q&A

I've had a few questions/comments about the sticky pages

Mine punched right through the sticky pages, no jamming, sticking etc. so Im not sure how to help with that problem. You can however, use the Ornament Movers and Shaper die cut (the small piece) to cut ornaments from your sticky pages.

here is the sandwich for your big shot: cutting plate, sticky pages, movers ornament piece, cutting plate, hard plastic black texturz impressions pad.

Someone mentioned that their punch got sticky. Mine did not... and I cut about 20 of these. But when my scissors get gunk-y (like from sticky strip) I clean them with a baby wipe. the alcohol in the wipe breaks down the gooey stuff. try cleaning your punch, then foil & wax paper to sharpen & un stick

Lots of fun hanging out with my stamping friends today at the RemARKable Stamper's team meeting and then Diva Day at Jan's- the best time of all! She always has great projects, great business ideas and yummy food. and her stamp room is "too die for" its like a stamping in the Stampin Up! Store. Its a great day personally (stamping & relaxing) and for my Stamping business! Earning Diva status= $1,000 in sales or $750 and a new stamping team member. Its soooooo worth the effort!!!

here's a quick Halloween card...this stamp is my favorite in this set. All you have to do is color the dog. EASY!!!

Sticky Page Glitter Ornament Tutorial

Thanks so much for all of the nice comments on the glitter ornament card. Here is how you make it:

1st the completed card- its a little different from the 1st one:

Lets begin:

You will need sticky pages (item #114300, page 158) & your ornament punch

Punch an ornament (or a few)

Peel off the white backing and adhere the sticky to a piece of whisper white. I added gold cord just underneath the top of the ornament. I will tuck the loose end in at the final step of the card.

Make cuts in the red overlay as shown with the lines. be careful not to cut all the way through your paper.

Peel off one section of the red overlay

sprinkle with color glitter.

Peel off the next section and sprinkle with glitter. continue with the rest of the ornament in this same fashion.

Punch 2 holes in the top of your ornament so you can tie gold cord in a bow

Complete your card
